# knowledge

> Read, add, update, review, and delete shared workspace knowledge entries.

knowledge — shared workspace knowledge files and their review state
  These commands need knowledge review turned on for the workspace.
  kylon workspace knowledge read
    Print knowledge/INDEX.md and a list of the other knowledge entries (topic pages and people
    bios) with type, title, and `validated <date>`, `changed <date>`, or `review due since <date>`.
    Treat an entry with review due as unconfirmed.
  kylon workspace knowledge entry read <path>
    Print the whole file, review header included, and its review status.
  kylon workspace knowledge entry add <path> --body <markdown> [--type <type>] [--title <title>] [--description <text>] [--tags a,b] [--applies-to <refs>] [--owners <user_id,...>] [--sources a,b]
    Create a topic page, knowledge/<topic>.md. INDEX, bios, and Room guidelines already exist and
    are changed with entry update.
  kylon workspace knowledge entry update <path> [--body <markdown>] [--type <type>] [--title <title>] [--description <text>] [--tags a,b] [--applies-to <refs>] [--owners <user_id,...>] [--sources a,b]
    Change an entry; omitted flags keep their value. This never moves last_validated.
  kylon workspace knowledge entry review <path> --verdict keep|update|delete --evidence <what you re-checked> [update flags]
    Record a re-check. keep re-stamps last_validated and changes nothing else; update applies the
    update flags and re-stamps it in one write; delete removes a topic page. An Agent's verdict and
    evidence are added to its context-audit history. Re-check before keep, against --sources when
    the entry has them.
  kylon workspace knowledge entry delete <path>
    Delete a topic page. INDEX, people bios, and Room guidelines cannot be deleted.
  <path>: knowledge/INDEX.md, knowledge/<topic>.md, knowledge/people/<user_id>.md, or
    rooms/<room_id>/guideline.md, with or without /workspace/.
  --type: context, reference, rule, standard, or person (default by location).
  --applies-to: global, or room:<room_id> / person:<user_id> / app:<app_id> tokens. It decides
    where the entry matters, not who can read it.
  --owners: human user ids of the people who answer for the entry.
  --sources: where a review re-checks the content, e.g. url:https://example.com.
  Outside an Agent's own workspace runtime, INDEX and bios can be re-confirmed (review keep) but
  not changed.

Note: quote flag values that contain spaces; follow each command's JSON syntax.
